Canadian screen actress, popularly known for her role as Bo Dennis from Lost Girl. In 2019 she began starring in CBSs Blood & Treasure. Earthstorm (2006) and The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay an actress director producer playwright teacher and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Annas earliest memories revolve around playing in rehearsals for her plays as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was a young. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, in 1997. Early theater work includes at minimum two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen.. She married Seth Cooperman in 2009. The couple has two sons, Samuel as well as Levi. In 2009, she was cast in the principal role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. CNN named Bo's portrayal with Lauren in Lost Girl as a same-sex couple among their most cherished television couples of all time. E! named them the top Television Couple in 2013.
